Posted by Laura Boatright on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 , In : California Politics

UPDATE: (this is written from a Left/Green Party POV...but, heh, it works both ways, pal)

The Hidden Prop 14 Revolution

"With rallies, meet ups, furious Internet activity, and lots of good old fashion footwork by energetic, committed lefties, we can beat Big Money and their D/R puppets in CA. We don't need a lot of dough to beat Big Money, just energy and smarts."

I agree...read what I wrote along those lines, here:

I had previously written that after going through emotional upheaval over the pas...

Now the (dis)honorable Malik Zulu Shabazz made some very disturbing statements regarding "crackers"...however, I'm here to set the record on "crackers" straight (again).

The Democrat-then Confede...

Driving 80 miles each way to speak about freedom at a Tea Party celebration, 3 hours.
Meeting the Thousand Oaks Tea Party Patriots? PRICELESS!

I had "met' Carolyn Guillot back in March 2009 just after she volunteered to become a Tea Party organizer. Since I was a whopping two weeks ahead of her in "experience" I was asked to "mentor" her (how to get the word out, press releases. info about weekly conference calls, etc. It was a very chaotic time......

It had been a tough few months. Many of us had worked on various political avenues to bring about change in the Golden State. From Party Central Committee seats to the Governor's race, we were all working hard to attempt to usher in a new era of citizen servants instead of career politicians.

But what we thought was obvious was that Proposition 14 was bad for voters, bad for citizens, and bad for ...
